GERMAN LANGUAGE COURSES

A1 LANGUAGE COURSE (Beginner)

Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases.

* Can introduce him/herself and others, and can ask and answer questions as well as give requests about personal details.

* Can communicate in a simple manner if the person they are speaking with speaks slowly and clearly

A2 LANGUAGE COURSE (Elementary)

Can understand standard sentences and frequently used German expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). 

*Can communicate in simple terms, routine matters requiring a simple and direct exchange of information. 

* Can describe in simple terms, aspects of his/her background, immediate environment, and matters in the area of immediate need..

B1 LANGUAGE COURSE (Intermediate)

Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst traveling in an area where the German language is spoken. Can produce simple connected text on topics, which are familiar, or of personal interest.

* Can describe experiences, events, dreams, hopes, and ambitions, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

* Can understand the main points of clear standard topics on matters that are a bit familiar and regularly encountered in school, work, and leisure

B2 LANGUAGE COURSE (Upper Intermediate)

* Can produce clear, detailed texts on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue, giving summary, advantages and disadvantages of various subjects.

* Can understand the main ideas of complex texting, both on concrete and abstract topics including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation.

How much would I earn in an apprenticeship in Germany?

BFD

Federal Voluntary Service (Bundesfreiwilligendienst - BFD) is a voluntary program initiated by the German Government in 2011. For a period of 6-12 months, volunteers can work within a non-profit project or organisation. The BFD is open to people of any age, as long as they have fulfilled their compulsory school education. Nevertheless, you should be at least 18 years of age if you want to participate in the programme as a foreigner
